Magical Sensation Carnaval Access Mardi-Gras

Carnaval Access stands for "eternal youth, peace & tranquility and togetherness.” Our goal is to provide the community the magical route to cultural enhancement. It is going to be one of the few Carnaval parades nominated for an award for traditional and originality.

Carnaval Access will be known for its family atmosphere parades of Multi-Cultural family themes including important features of the children in music.  There will be many families of different ethnicities on the same float!

Carnaval Access will be one of the few Accesses that will continue to host an elaborate multi-cultural enhancement ball, the all society ball and the district ball every year called the “Access Community Ball."  A full Royal Court will be appointed annually at the Los Angeles Ball and presented in full costume. Costumes will be handmade and detailed with the finest materials and fabrics. The headpieces are made of exotic imported feathers and stones.

The Captain of Carnaval Access will serve as the longest continuously serving Carnaval Captain in the City of Los Angeles.  And will continue to lead the parade and the court with our unending energy, vision and love for Carnaval culture.  This individual has to be serving on many boards and committees in the area for local charity functions.

Carnaval Access will evolve throughout our experience and research into a contemporary club of “festive ladies and invited gentlemen.” We will have our royal court range from an 18-year-old high school senior to a 75-year-old retired schoolteacher. Our Kings and Queens will be elected throughout a vote from the community festivities and Multi-Cultural events.

We will be helping load the beads ourselves the day of the parade.  A hired crew of volunteers will load the beads the evening before the parade and our bead packets will be delivered directly to the floats.

Throughout the effort, we will always have an ALL SOCIETY BALL to announce the new strategy for 2008. We will start a Carnaval Access Brunch for all members, families and friends to enjoy another Multi-Cultural event for all Members and families to show our appreciation.

Our membership will vary and include from all men, women to groups and co-workers, colleagues from all industries, corporate clients, out of town guests and junior level of membership; our Junior Members open to girls ages 8-17 before they become full members at the age of 18.

Carnaval Access is reaching into the community through several charitable organizations including Children in Music School and Women in Films. We will continue to recognize our local talent in our “Best of the Best” marching band contest and more which will awards trophies and financial contributions to Los Angeles and area schools.

We are an organization that will participate in many activities throughout the year such as the Martin Luther King Day parade, 4th of July parade, New Years Day parade, the California State Horsemen, Mexican Independence Day parade, Halloween party, and monthly meetings, which include dinner and or a themed reception and many different volunteer opportunities within the organization in the community.

We are looking forward to a great 2007 season!
